Sculpting a 1,524 Pound Cheeseburger out of Cheese for National Cheeseburger Day!
The sculpture is made purely from aged Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese. Designed for cheese-enthusiastic eatery, The Melt. Troy Landwehr, a cheese sculptor trimmed the cheese to reveal the “Cheese Burger”.
The San Francisco based food chain is headed to the record books after shaping 1,524 pounds of Cheddar into the world’s largest cheese sculpture.
Created to celebrate National Cheeseburger day as well as The Melt adding Cheeseburgers to their menu, the sculpture is 45 inches tall and 38 inches wide. This sculpture is nearly 600 pounds more than the previous record holder, Cheez-it.
